New contract to teach in a remote community?

Have you just got a teaching contract for this term in a remote outback community school?

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS!

This is a huge and exciting move for you.

I remember the holidays before I moved remote. I searched the library, articles, internet and social media for any extra skerrick of information I could find to help me prepare to go remote. There was not much there at all.

We help bridge that gap. We want you to feel prepared and inspired for your new remote teaching position!

So if you, like me, want to soak up all the information you possibly can before you go remote then here are some ideas:

  1. Make time to read our blogs and listen to our podcast.
  2. Connect on our social media channels- Teachers in Remote Communities (Past, Present, Future) Group with 6k+ members, The Remote Teacher Facebook Page, The Remote Teacher Instagram Page.
  3. Investigate our courses- we have the Thrive Intensive that will help you feel confident, competent and prepared for your remote teaching position! This opens for each school holiday- and gives you one-on-one support you need!
